Dear TransAria Customer, Partner, Friend and Investor,

Since this company’s inception as Cutthroat Communications in 2001, we have had one sincere goal. That goal was to bring advanced telecommunications services to areas that were underserved by the traditional telephone, long distance, data transmission and cable television companies.

Our approach was simple; bring internet protocol based services to customers that are tailor made for a wide range of advanced services. Though our company has been through many changes, expansions and other events, the goal has remained the same and through it all, our business has seen consistent year over year growth, constant reinvestment into technologies and a core team of technologists dedicated to consistent service improvement and availability expansion.

In late 2003 we decided to change our name from Cutthroat Communications to TransAria. How did we pick the name? An employee contest was created and what won were the Latin words "across connected". We changed our name as at the time we operated or owned multiple trading names in markets as far north as Fairbanks and as far south as Jaurez Mexico. The name Cutthroat Communications did not play as well across multiple regions so we chose a new name. At the time, I think many of us knew that our original name was special - for many good and sometimes not so good reasons. Our name heard without the accompaniment of a fish logo or heard without some Northwestern U.S. heritage, and you might think that we were an aggressive pirate-managed telecom company.

Here it is 2007 and we have regained our focus on customers headquartered or with major presences in Montana. Our customers operate with our network in several states but many of them made their start here and continue to grow with us at their side. It is fantastic to grow with these great Montana companies and with that in mind, it is time to get back to our roots.

As of the date of this letter, we will begin "the return of the fish" and restore our native to Montana roots. Though our parent company name will be TransAria, you can now once again refer to us as Cutthroat Communications. Check out the new website here: www.cutthroatcom.com.

Cutthroat Communications’ activities from here forward promises to be eventful for all. You can expect new products, new markets, new people and many other exciting developments.

I look forward to sharing more with you but for now, I want to thank you for your involvement with our growing firm and I appreciate all that you have done.

Sincerely,

Todd Graetz
